Summer at Keenan!
The Keenan Center, in partnership with CNY Robotics and Science, offers a full summer of STEAM programming in a Project Based Learning environment! The Keenan Center offers students access to the DiLaura Inspiration and Design Lab, a state of the art maker space that has become a second home to some of the best hands on educators in Central New York.
Join us for 1 to 6 weeks of full programming, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m..

Summer Schedule
Week 1: 3D Printing, July 13 - 17
From idea to object! Campers learn to design & print their own creations while learning basic CAD engineering design tools
Week 2: Electronics, July 20 - 24
Build a working race car from scratch while learning circuits, wiring, LEDs, how to identify resistors, and more.
Week 3: Rocketry, July 27 - 31
Future engineers launch into action! Build and launch real rockets while learning the basics of propulsion and rocketry.
Week 4: Lego Robotics, Aug 3 - 7
Kids learn to design, build, and program Mindstorms robots. Coding instruction will match abilities.
Week 5: 3D Printing, Aug 10 - 14
Open to new & returning students, 3D printing basics will parallel a more advanced program of 3D modeling techniques.
