Middle & High School
School Students
Middle School Program (Grades 6–8)
A guided creative experience focused on imagination, exploration, and foundational maker skills. Students get hands-on with 3D printing, electronics, coding, media tools, and more.
High School Track (Grades 9–12)
A deeper dive into real-world innovation. High school students engage in more advanced challenges—collaborating in teams, exploring complex technologies, and designing projects that address real needs.
Keenan Innovators is an after school program for 6th - 12th graders hosted by the Keenan Center at Le Moyne College
Your student will learn how to take an idea and bring it to life, developing their creative thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills along the way.
Whether they’re engineering a gadget, launching a YouTube Channel, creating custom apparel, or building something entirely new, Keenan Innovators gives them the tools, mentorship, and space to explore, experiment, and make their ideas real.
Cost: $299 per month, per student
Total for the full season (3 months): $897 per student
Includes: All materials - students keep everything they create
Inquiry Based Learning
Some students thrive on open-ended creativity, while others prefer a little more structure, our program supports both.
Keenan Innovators uses inquiry-based learning, where students start with a question like, “How does an airplane fly?” or “Could I design an automatic pet feeder?” and follow their creativity through hands-on experimentation.
Guided by our expert coaches, they explore, create, and iterate: learning to problem-solve, adapt, and bring their ideas to life in a way that mirrors real-world innovation.

The Keenan Center’s Maker Space is like no other in CNY.
The Keenan Center is a hands-on innovation hub where young creators, builders, and problem-solvers bring their ideas to life across six specialized labs.
3D Print Lab
From beginner-friendly machines to high-precision printers, students can design and print custom gadgets, tools, and functional prototypes.
Wood Working Lab
Stocked with saws, drills, and essential tools, it’s a space for hands-on crafting, building, and exploring how things are made.
Laser Cutting Lab
Equipped with laser cutters and a range of fabrication tools, this space lets students craft everything from intricate artwork to engineered projects.
Electronics Lab
With soldering stations, Arduino microcontrollers, and circuit-building tools, students can tinker with electronics, build interactive projects, and explore the world of physical computing.
Media Lab
A professional-grade studio for video and podcast production, where students can record, edit, and share their own stories.
CAD & Design Station
A suite of 3D modeling software students can design and prototype everything from product concepts to architectural models with precision and creativity.

Fall 2024 Season
Fall Innovators Season - Registration Open
Class Times. Keenan Innovators classes are offered on both weekday evenings (7:00–8:30 PM) and weekend mornings (10:00–11:30 AM). Each session is capped at 10 students to ensure a focused, hands-on experience.
You’ll be prompted to select your preferred time slot in the full registration form.
Details about specific fall class days will be announced in early August.
Dates. Sessions are 12 weeks. Fall session will run from the week of September 8, 2025 - November 27, 2025
Location. All classes are held at the Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Creativity at Le Moyne College. There is open parking in the back from drop off and pick up. Doors are locked for security and an instructor will be present for student hand off. We stick to a 3:10 instructor to student ratio.
Price: $299 per month, per student.

Families commit to the full 12-week season, and while we do not offer discounts for multiple students, we provide flexible monthly invoicing to make payments more manageable.
